The Beehive is an online interactive information and referral tool. They offer free online relevant information on money,

NYPIRG - New York Public Research Interest Group
The New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) is New York State's largest consumer, environmental
and government reform organization. It is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit group established to effect policy reforms while
training students and other New Yorkers to be advocates. Since 1973, NYPIRG has played the key role in fighting for
more than 120 public interest laws and executive orders.

NYPIRG's Community Mapping Assistance Project
The New York Public Interest Research Group has started a community mapping program targeted to meet the needs of
non-profit organizations in New York City. They can generate all types of maps for your organization for reasonable fees.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City
For over ninety years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City has developed expertise in youth mentoring, volunteer
management, case management and intervention skills in working with youth and single parent families. Since 1992,
the agency's Training Center has been mentoring hundreds of youth-serving organizations throughout New York City
with the goal of serving more youth with one-to-one adult volunteers. Each year, the Center hosts workshops, conferences,
and lectures to promote excellence in services to mentor youth.

About Our Kids
The NYU Child Study Center Child Study Center offers expert psychiatric and psychological services for children and
families, with emphasis on early diagnosis and intervention. The Child and Family Recovery Program will utilize a
scientifically based mental health recovery model to: identify children who are most at risk for developing a mental
health problem in the aftermath of September 11th, 2001; provide trauma and grief specific cognitive behavioral therapy
for children moderately to severely impaired by exposure to these events, and refer less severely impaired children who
may need treatment for exacerbation of pre-existing mental health conditions to alternate treatments; evaluate all treatment
administered; and, train mental health professionals to provide appropriate interventions in school- and community-based
programs; offer outreach and education to the public, pediatricians and parents; conduct outreach and education to children,
mental health providers, teachers, staff, and parents in and around the World Trade Center and surrounding areas; and
assess children in need of mental health treatment.

Learning Leaders
Learning Leaders (www.learningleaders.org) is a nonprofit organization that recruits and trains volunteers to provide
NYC public school children with educational instructional support. Learning Leaders was the first program of its kind
in the country and has served since 1956 as a model for hundreds of other school volunteer programs nationwide.

New York City Community Action Network
NYC-CAN is an organization of volunteers from Ground Zero, Javitz Center, Chelsea Piers and other efforts related to
the WTC disaster of September 11. NYC-CAN responds to community needs by developing and/or assisting in a variety
of projects and events that benefit the community. Whether activating volunteers, soliciting for resources and supplies or
