LawHelp/NY combines a comprehensive database of civil legal services providers in New York City with a customized search engine that matches a client with referrals based on where the client lives and his/her legal problem. The referral information listed for each organization includes income eligibility requirements, population and area served, types of cases handled, languages spoken by staff, and the exact means by which clients should contact the organization for intake.
